Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
Another below zero morning....temps may not get above 0 today. Started out at a snails pace and then moved up to a turtle and finished off at mp....tough morning.

No kidding, you ran outside in that? I didn't know it was possible, wouldn't you get frostbite in your lung lobes or something? That is some hardcore stuff, especially for 10 miles, unbelievable.

You ran outside in that weather! It hurt just to walk outside in it this morning. And you said I'm nuts. Nice job on keeping up the mileage through this cold snap that won't end.

Ok.....I totally need to clarify.... I woke up, checked the temp, and ran on the tm in the comfort of my basement ......no way running in -15!below conditions ......but yes Sheridan. I'm stupid most of the time.
Flat... Do you remember the sub zero stuff from years past? Pretty tough conditions....

It's sure not 0 here but it is cold! Freezing at night and in the 40's during the day. I'm almost ready for summer!
What brand of TM do you have? It seems to be holding up well for all the miles you're giving it :-)

Preston
It's a Nordic Trac 1750..... It's a workhorse. Haven't had any issues with it at all.

Any run of 10 miles on the TM is a tough morning, nice job.
IJR - I don't think Rye is going to sympathize with your low 40's!
