It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun. Short-Term Running Goals: Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family. Personal: Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Nice morning to get back on track from a pretty lousy week. Feeling better today and Saturdays run felt great to get back into things. Didn't quite hit all targets but I did have a week off and so I probably was off and sluggish?

Well after 2 days of stomach virus or whatever you want to call it, I was able to run today. Ran up sunnyside road and back..... 650 elevation gain on a very warm afternoon. Pretty tired from not eating a whole lot....... water and gatorade......kinda like running a marathon.... |

Back to the grind with the RLRF Program. Today was a good workout for me. I just about hit all the goals. Didn't dread this workout for some reason. Some of the longer intervals kill me.....

| No cross training today......(no bike ride, though I did ride my Harley Davidson Sportster)so I went for a nice run on a warm afternoon. 7 miles @ 8:20 and the last mile at 7:15 or so. Nothing to wild and crazy today....tempo run tomorrow:) |
