Boston Qualifier

Running Accomplishments:

Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Personal:

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.

I bet you slept well at least! Nice run, and a nice week you have going so far.

I think I'm turning into you Rye, most of my runs are on the treadmill lately :-( Way to keep up the milage. You need to start planning for a race!

Now that's dedication. That makes for a long day and a short night. Nice run.

Very nice Ryan. That gives me a little motivation...I need to push it on the TM! Don't you think it's hard when your watching something you enjoy? Maybe watching shows is only good for getting an easy run in, and music for tempo! Good boy.

BTW, Jim is wanting to run a half marathon this spring/summer. The Idaho Falls half in June looks good. Sheridan, Jim, you, me...let's do it. Have you ran that one? Is the course decent? No crazy downhill or uphill for Jim.

From Rye on Thu, Jan 10, 2013 at 09:56:54 from 65.129.74.135

Joe...sleep? whats that!

IJR...Yeah, I'm thinking its time...

Summertime...Guess that is one of the reasons I purchased the tm...when life gets crazy and you finally have some time, even if it is late in the evening, I can still pull it off.

Tara, not sure on that course. I think that it is relatively flat. Probably should check it out. That's great that Jim wants to do that. He has done such a great job with his weight. I find that I can kick out tempo runs watching some shows..Movies are a sure fire slow pace deal. I still listen to music on interval days. These conditions have been pretty nasty.
