runnin with a friend

Interesting run this afternoon. Got home early from work and the kids were at the school with their snowboards trying to get the dogs to pull them around. They balked at the idea (the dogs) and so I was the next best thing. I am guessing about 5 miles. It felt more like 20. Kids had fun and in a way I had fun too. I guess it is one of the many reasons that I do run. Playing with the kids is a blast!

Cool and breezy day. Temperature at the start; a chilly 27 degrees with a steady breeze of 15 mph. It has been real busy the last couple of days. Trying to get caught up on the blog. I have the next couple of days off. Oh the benefits of working for the same corp for so many years.... I am at my max, so I have to take a day or two off every two weeks so I don't lose any vacation time. Wish it was nice outside so I could do more than just run...

Temps about 17 degrees with a north wind at 5 to 7 mph. Hanna ran all 7 plus miles. I actually got confused on the run. I grew up here, but with all the houses around I got totally turned around. It was foggy and snowy.

Its official, I am sick of winter! 6 degrees this morning and lots of blue sky. It was a death march. Don't know if it was from temps or just laziness. I ran 6 days this week...not quite 40 miles. In the summer time it would be low 60's for miles. Can't seem to motivate myself when it is so blasted cold and miserable outside. Side note: Hanna just rolled her eyes at me when I left this moring. She is pretty tired from yesterday. Or maybe she just didn't want another bath.
