Had one of those sunday headaches yesterday so I took a couple of excedrin. Bad mistake. Could not fall asleep last night. I don't do very well with caffiene. Took off to work early this morning ... light snow falling at 28 degrees. By the time I finished up, crunch, crunch......3/4 of an inch of snow fell. No wind to speak of. I started off thinking I would run a good 6 to 7 miles mp, but it started to become slick. Felt pretty good considering the amount of sleep. Hope to put in some more miles on the way home. We will see how the body feels.
The weather treated me about the same.....snow. Temps were about 33 degrees. Nice and cool and cloudy. The run felt pretty good for the most part. How fast can a guy really go when his hat and gloves are soaked. Felt like a human sponge. |
