Running Accomplishments:

Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Personal:

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.

Nice morning to run.....felt a bit tired and stopped just under 7. All in all a good week with 46+ plus miles considering the injury the last couple of weeks. Hope next week will be a good one. Temps this morning were in the high 50's when I took off. Hard to believe that August is about up. My daughter, who is serving in DC South is heading home on the 9th of December! We received her flight plans and we are thinking that she is going to come home know. Not sure she wants to but she has family that misses her.

That is great news about your daughter, has she been gone 2 years?

Good week this week. That is about the mileage I was running this time of year last year, and I did a decent full marathon in January. There is hope!

Joe... women that serve missions are out 18 months compared to the 2 years that young men serve. She will have been out 19 months 2 weeks and 1 day but who is counting????? She was able to extend her mission 6 weeks. We would have liked her to be home for Thanksgiving but we will have to settle for Christmas.
