Running Accomplishments:

Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Personal:

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.

Nice run this morning on the treadmill. 4 easy miles to start with and then finished up the last 6 or so at 7:45 pace. Hoping to get out this afternoon for a quick run at lunch with a friend from high school who just took up running.

Since I have been running on the tm, my dog Hanna comes down stairs and sits by the treadmill and sleeps while I run. I need to get her back out. Maybe the cadence helps her sleep????

Weird dog.

She's trying to guilt you into running outside with her.

Joe, it's not working...Rye is in love with his TM :-)

Oh...good run Rye, seriously, the TM seems to be working for your very well!

Burt.... You offend humans, know you are

working on animals! Don't you ever quit?

Joe..... Hanna's eyes are pathetic! The guilt

look!

IJR... It sure has helped me get runs in when I might not have due to weather or darkness.

Your dog sounds cute!

Okay...after Googling Jack Bauer and 24...it finally hit me why you had television on there too...duh! I just haven't ever watched 24. I need to buy the series if you say it is a good one. Maybe that will help me on the treadmill and make it bearable! I just never watch anything on TV except national news.....oh ya, and Disney Channel or cartoons. :)

Steam8 I'm with you on the tv! I don't care

for most of the programming. DVDs are great!

I have the And Griffith show and 24 and a few other good ones that are excellent. 24 is defiinetly mature viewing. It's violent for sure! No kids allowed!

Steam,

I can attest to Jack Bauer in 24 but you may not need to run while watching it! Your heart rate will definitly climb!!

Nice run. Hannah probably thinks she is burning calories when she gets close to a moving treadmill.
