Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
52 miles this morning. Nice day for a ride. No wind and lots of sunshine. avg speed 19.7mph. Good over the terrain. Hills and more hills. I am going to refrain from my weekly attempt to run. Going to give it anther week.

Wow, nice ride! I would think something cool about cycling would be the distances you can go. After awhile with running, you've seen all you can see in your area, even with occasional 20-mile training runs.
Probably a good call on the running. Hoping it wil be healed up next time you try.

Thanks joe... ya, you can make a wrong turn and make your bike ride an extra 5 to 7 miles and its not as big of a deal vs running and doing the same thing. My riding partner today ran a 30 miler last week with a altitude ascent of 9000ft. Bike ride for him was good therapy to get loosened up. He was nice today, he knows it's difficult for me not to be running, so we talked bike stuff for a couple of hours.

Way to hang in there, getting some nice work in. Probably a good call to wait another week.
