Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
Better day than yesterday, but not much. Must be going thru a downer or something. Legs felt better than they did yesterday. Avg pace ....... not going to say.

Hey Rye
Do you have any races planned in the next few months? Any marathons in mind?

IJR... Here in Idaho the racing season is winding down. Might try to catch a 5 or 10k race this fall. Ogden Marathon in May and Teton Dam in the middle of June, Top of Utah in middle September. Hoping that the treadmill keeps the base good and then kick it in during the spring. What's on the schedule for you? Seems like your hip is doing well!

Hey Rye,
I went and posted the races I'm thinking about on my profile. All of them are here in Texas except for one in Las Vegas. I'll be out there that weekend for a Team Roping competition I'm entered in so I'm thinking about running a Rock-n-Roll Marathon too (may switch to the half...?)
