Running Accomplishments:

Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Personal:

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.

Had a good sleep last night and woke up ready for a nice run. Temps in the high 30's with no wind. Great running weather. Took off at 6:30am. Best run of the week. Strapped on my hrm and got an idea where I am at with my fitness. Keep plugging away...Easy miles at 8:15 and the rest avg out 7:15ish

Your PRs look out of date for those kinds of speeds. Heart rate was OK too, I presume?

It's hard to say what my pr's are because it has been a few years since I have really raced. So I am guessing on the pacing.Those pr's were established when I was running 40 miles per week, so I might be improving some. I am going to try to race more this year so we will see how the times go..... Ya, heart rate looked great.

I am hoping to be in shape to run the Teton Dam Marathon. Hope the training goes well and no injuries....you?

Teton Dam Marathon is one of my favorites. I have ran it four times. It has the hometown appeal for me since my parents live in Newdale. I probably won't be running it this year though. The only race on my schedule right now is Mesa Falls Marathon in August.
