Running Accomplishments:

Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Personal:

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.

Seven miles early on a wintery morning. Ran late last night and up early for my run today due to a funeral this morning. Legs didn't want to work so it was a battle from the start. Missed one day this week, but all in all a good week  No aches and pains!

Nice week, best news is the "no aches and pains" part. Hope the funeral went ok.

Yes, that does made the week turn out nice. Hey if Jim and SueAnn don't show up tomorrow they will be here. I will make sure they go to church, even on their "vacation.":)

I don't know if Jim's told you this yet, but you should know that the last time he was here, he fixed our toilet on Sunday, and even made a trip to Smiths. FYI.

Joe.. thanks, I feel like I'm getting back to early spring shape when I was running ok. The funeral went well and our church fed over two hundred family members. Lots of family there.

Tara, thanks for that information.... I can use that sometime in the near future. It's always nice to pull out those cards when needed. Probably need to check up on Sara and Shalene though.... could be some crazy stuff happening at the homestead!

I came over here to see how the funeral went.

How did the funeral go?

From I Just Run on Sun, Nov 06, 2011 at 00:05:40 from 71.41.149.142

Yeah....A good week!

But I'm trying to figure out why you would run outside and in the cold when you have a perfectly good TM to run on :-)

From Rye on Sun, Nov 06, 2011 at 01:10:58 from 174.27.70.71

Burt. The funeral was fine. We fed over 200 today. Our RS is a well oiled machine. They do a super job. We send them out full!

IJR..... Call me stupid! I'm such an idiot,

From Burt on Sun, Nov 06, 2011 at 01:23:13 from 72.223.91.148

You send them out full? Oh my gosh! How do you survive? You must have a very understanding ward.

From flatlander on Sun, Nov 06, 2011 at 15:53:22 from 76.31.26.153

Sounds like a full but satisfying week. Glad the funeral went well. I'm on your side, picking the whistling winter blasts over the infernal treadmill.
