Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.

Up at 4am..... not to run, but to go to Henrys Lake for some fall fishing. Fishing was slow..... one thing though, we were pumping up the pontoon boats and all three of my friends were so tired that I ended up pumping all three pontoon boats up. Fat fisherman! They had a steady diet of Snickers and licorice whips and Mountain Dew at 5am. Ughhh! Got home at 5pm and wanted to take a nap but went out for a 6 mile run.Weather was perfect. 70 degrees and a breeze out of the S. 8:20 avg pace

I didn't get tired pumping up the boats....... did strain my neck and shoulder. I can hardly move my left side.

That's funny!! You can find cross-training opportunities all over the place if your not lazy.

If you'll take me fishing, I'll pump up the pontoon boats for you :-)

Glad to see there were no notations of running aches or pains...but sorry about the neck and shoulder!

TexasLindsey..... I enjoy running that much more when doing things like that. I see the benefits of cardio exercise. Course I don't think that the Snickers and Mountain Dew helps!

IJR... You are on. I am open to any frb that wants to go! You especially, now that I know that I have a slave. Do you like to fish anyway?

I'm really not much of a fisherman...just never had many chances. I was invited once by a friend to go wade fishing in the Gulf of Mexico. As we were going to the small island to wade fish I saw several sharks. When we got to the island my friend jumped out and sad "come on, get in". I said there were way too many sharks in the water for me so I just stayed in the boat and fished. As the boat drifted around I could see the anchor rope had looped itself around my friends body but he hadn't noticed...So I quitly grabbed the rope, yanked it really hard and yelled "SHARK". My friend jumped completly over the boat to the other side. Nedless to say I haven't been invited back to fish anymore :-(

Sorry Lindsey...you probably don't care about fishing stories...!

Sounds like you would fit in great up here in Idaho! Funny story!
