Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
Easy commute run. Temps were around 24 degrees, no wind. Actually it was pleasant. Will do a tempo run home this afternoon.
So much for the tempo run. Stomach problems galore. Got the miles in.
Brooks Adrenaline Miles: 12.15

Saw your comment on Crockett's blog and have to ask, what is the 800 club? Does that refer to monthly expenditures?

Yes, each missionary has a cost of 400 dollars per month no matter where they serve. It is a real cool opportunity as a family to support them temporally. My kids have saved to help pay for their missions but I hope to contribute enough to let them have some college money when they return home.

I have two sons. The first was a superb missionary, one of the best I have seen or heard of. The second is 17 and facing a lot of challenges right now. So I know both sides of the story. It is great to see all the runners who are supporting missionaries. Heartfelt congratulations on being a member of the 800 club, it speaks volumes for your family.
