Short-Term Running Goals:

Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Personal:

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Had to run mondays run on tuesday.... funeral, work, and just totally drained from the day got to me. I feel like crawling under a rock some days..... The funeral was quite difficult. 34 year old mother of 2 young girls had too much to drink and jumped out of a car. The automobile was traveling 60 mph.....lots of tension between husband and her family...anyways back to the run today. I managed to complete another interval workout! That's always a great relief to me. Don't know if they are getting easier, but I am able to complete them and not be totally wiped out. Guess that is good news. I for the most part hit the goals, give or take a few seconds... Off work for the rest of the week!  I need it!

I noticed that this workout called for 400m recovery between each 1000. When I set it up on my watch I set it for 200m recovery..... Dang.... not looking at the fine print.

Good work, sorry life has been so busy and stressful.

Thats was a tragic deal, too much sorrow and morality issues today...this is what happens as a result.

Wow, those are FAST with only 200m rest. Nice job, you are definitely starting to improve a lot already!

Really sorry to hear about the lady friend. That is a tragity.

Your run is amazing! You beat the pace time on every set and only had 200m recoveries and a 3:34 on the last interval. You're showing some real speed. On top of that, your warm-up and recovery was great too. You're really doing good. You'll be leaving me behind soon :-( I'm telling you, you're going to blow your marathon PR out of the water when you finish this training!!! Wow, only 200m recoveries, I'm inpressed!

Sometimes running helps with the rest of our lives. We can concentrate on hitting splits and forget about how messed up life can be at times. Enjoy your time off and family. Good workout.
