Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
Ran to work on a very nice morning. Blue skies and about 48 degrees. Legs felt a bit tired, ultimate frisbee last night with the family. Will run home this afternoon...
Managed to get home. Slow run............. Can I blame it on 70 degree weather?

Good running. Where do you work that you can run to it but some of those other days I saw you on your bike early?

I work as a building engineer at the Idaho Falls Temple. At times I work rotating shifts, so depending on how I feel those early mornings I might run or I will ride the motorcycle or bicycle. Years ago I raced on bikes, so tell your wife great job on the century ride. Just as in marathons I have had good experiences during century rides and some very unpleasant ones. Does she ride with a group or does she go solo? What does she ride? I purchased a Specialized Roubaix last year and just love it. Too many hobbies!

Thanks, I will let her know. She mostly rides solo as she feels a bit unsafe in large packs (she does some training rides with 1-2 others at times). She is riding a Raleigh Supercourse all carbon fiber...a pretty nice ride that we got her last summer.
