Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Stomach and headache forced me to run on the treadmill. Didn't want to get to far away from civilization.....hummmmm enough of that. Tough run considering how I felt. Hit the target right on the money though. Ran outside with Hannah (canine) for the cool down. I think some Coke is in order.... Wish I had felt better for this run....

Nice running, right on the mark! I think speed work is harder on the Dreadmill. Long slow is okay but running fast just seems harder. Did you ramp up 1% on the TM, I've been told to do that to make it more like road running.

Can you believe we have already made it through almost 4 weeks of this training?

IJR.. it's hard to believe that week four is almost in the books. Stomach feels pretty crappy right now. Don't know if the workouts are getting easier, but I know what to expect.

Quote from RLRF Book:

"Training with Purpose philosophy favors quality over quantity, intensity over frequency, fast running over the accumulation of miles. If you want to run faster, you need to train faster."

Hey, if the bare minimum wasn't good enough, it wouldn't be the bare minimum! Great that you could hit the paces when not feeling well.

Thanks joe I need to stop comparing my times to that speedy IJR. It's been fun to run this program with him. I'm a solo runner for the most part and this has been quite enjoyable.
