Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
Hiking in Yellowstones. Hiked with a float tube on the back. 6 esay miles. Lots of yellowstone cutthroat caught today. Picture perfect day!
Asics 2110 Miles: 6.50

Count me as jealous! Sounds like a great time, I guess you are not too far away from Yellowstone up there. And you got in a pretty good workout with that hike, I bet.

Hey Joe, you know I live just about an hour and 45 min away from Yellowstone. We are really lucky to live so close. The fires of 1988 really devestated the area but you would not believe how it has rebounded since then. Thick forest and grass. I was constantly blowing my whistle during the hike. We spotted a grizzly there in that area back about 10 years ago and since then the area is so well wooded and lush I can't imagine a better place for the bears...Hey if you ever get a chance to come this way for a vacation..you have a place to park for a day or so before a trip to Yellowstone. If you fly fish this is the perfect place to hang out not to mention a nice cool run.

Rye, thanks. It sure does sound nice. I look forward to the day when my girls can rough it for a few days and do some camping and hiking.
