Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
Some nice easy miles up the foothills on a cool fall day. Nothing to special, just getting in a good run in on a Saturday morning.
Speedstar 5 Asics Miles: 10.60

Pretty decent miles this week. Keep up the good work. Your ward is depending on you.

Nice miles Rye...any plans for racing?

IJR....The racing plans..... good question! I don't want to belly ache and moan.....but with work, school, and my church calling, it's been difficult at best to try to train for a race. Seems like every weekend there is something pulling on me. It I can just maintain fitness at the moment I am happy. Hopefully in 2013 things might slow down some for me. I should be finished with my degree, and that should help! I'm taking 18 credits every term so things are hectic but worth it I guess. Church calling is about 15 plus hours a week and sometimes I have very little to do with the scheduling and things that come up that I have to take care of. Okay....enough crying....there is no crying in running!

What, you didn't mention kids! And by the way, I cry when I run, but only when I'm alone :-(

IJR.... Oops slight oversight. I can't forget about the new grandchild too!

Wow, that is quite a workload. Glad you can still get in some running.

Thanks Joe... IJR caught me in a poor Rye mood....it's all good! It does get a bit crazy sometimes.

Your schedule is one of the crazier ones I know about. You get a free pass from racing (unless you want to).
