Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
What a crappy week of running. Back muscles messed up and lots of discomort.... These 5 miles were pretty much walking on the tm with the incline at 15.....running is just too much jarring for the back..

Man. What did you do to your back? Take it easy so you don't injure yourself more. This is the time of year where being injured is easier to overcome than in the peak running season. Hope it gets better.

Summertime ...Wish I knew. It started to tense up yesterday and by 7pm I was hurting pretty good. Hopefully Monday I will be somewhat back a it. I ran a half mile and it did me in:(

Ahh, dang back. Let's hope you are good to go on Monday. The things we have to put up with, with this sport...

I know how aggravating a back problem is. It just makes you feel miserable. Hope it loosens up soon!

Hey Rye, is your back still giving you problems? I hope not!

Hope you get feeling better. At least the running outside is nonexistent so is all you're missing is the TM, not a bad time for some RnR :)
