Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Personal:

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.

Easy miles after work on a very cool day. Temperature about 10 above. The wind chill is about 10 below zero. Needless to say....miserable. Hanna came with me. She had a frozen beard. The family thought that I shouldn't take her out in the cold. Typical, they are worried about the family pet and not their father......

What a balmy day! Yesterday morning temps in Ammon were a nasty 20 below zero. That's without the wind. So needless to say it was good to get out today. Afternoon temps about 15 degrees. Not the best, but I can deal with it.

Started this mornings run at 9 degrees and finished the run at 14 degrees. No wind which made it tolerable. Lots of sunshine today. Hanna ran 5 miles with me. She ran off leash, which was a good thing. Too many squirells to count. She is super speedy when it comes to chasing down furry animals.

Another cool morning in Southeastern Idaho. Took daughter to jumprope practice in Rexburg and took a run while I waited. Ran in the community of Archer. Lots of friendly folks out. Older couple in their 80's walking 5 miles this morning hand in hand. Pretty awesome! Had a nice chat with them. To my surprise ...... friendly dogs out checking me out. Had a companion for a couple of miles.
