runnin with a friend

Ran to work on a cool, rainy, and breezy morning. Interesting enough........passed 4 runners this morning. Tough Idahoans! temps in the high 30's. See what it looks like at 4:30 for the run home.

Windy and sunny on the way home this afternoon. Legs felt like lead pipes today. Had a busy day at work so I think that will be my excuse today. Pace on the way home... 8:15 avg

Had a crazy day! Went to work for a couple of hours. Arrived at 5am and worked till about 930am. Headed back home to conduct a funeral. Funeral lasted for a while and the dinner afterwards took care of about 6 hours. It was a very nice funeral. Young (67) grandfather and father passed away. Children gave him a wonderful tribute! Glad to be apart of the program. Anyways, got home and ran 8 plus miles on a cloudy day.

Not much to report.... Wet and windy. Rain and grime. Mud and gunk..... get the point.

Nine plus mile run before work this afternoon. Windy and sunny. Snow is finally gone for the most part. Finished up cleaning after my two dogs........You don't want to know....Anyway, the run was good. Legs are feeling stronger and stronger. Hope things progress well for the next couple of weeks.

Temp about 35 degrees and very little wind. Ran to work at brunch time. Working a 11 hour day. Will run home later today. Lots of people out this morning. avg pace for the run  7:50 

Ran home @ 10:30 38 degrees. 6 and half miles. Nice evening.

Ran home from the Regional Jumproping Championships late this afternoon from Bonneville High School. Cool and windy with the temp about 37 degrees. Tough running. Just sitting around for 9 hours and body pretty stiff. Glad to have the run over. Ran against the wind for most of the run. Side note: my two kids performed well. My son qualified to go to Nationals in 6 events. My daughter 8 events. My daughter is Regional Champion in 5 events.
