Running Accomplishments:

Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Personal:

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.

Ran to work on a cool breezy morning. enjoyed a nice weekend with family and friends. Looking forward to mellow week. Daughter and son are jumping at the National Championships in Galveston Texas this week. I will post some pics for those of you that aren't familiar with the sport of jumping rope..It is amazing...Gymnastics with a rope...

Ran @ 5:45am this morning. Cloudy morning. Nice temps. Need to hustle back from work this evening due to family leaving to Galveston for the Jump Rope Championships tonight. Wish that I could go. Guess I got to stay home and help pay for the trip.

Just some easy miles to work on a beautiful morning. 50 degrees and no wind and blue skies. Back soreness on my left side. Doesn't feel real good. I hope it works itself out.

Back is still a little tender. Ran home in stifling heat. 88 degrees. Man it just jumps from one extreme to the other.
