Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
Late night run on the TM. Avg pace aroung 8 for the run. The Golden Retriever (Hanna) gets all excited when I get my running clothes on and head downstairs. She will run down the stairs and then flop down and fall asleep after about 20 minutes of intense viewing of my running form.... go figure.
Late evening miles on the TM. Had a busy day and didn't get the run in till late. Bummer too, fall weather is great! Temps in the afternoon are just perfect.
Had the day off and enjoyed a very nice run in perfect conditions. 40 some odd degrees and no wind.....ran up the foothills and back for a even 8 miles at 7:40 pace.
Busy day! Left early to fish Henry's Lake and had a great time. Came home and did a few chores and then ran on the TM for 9 miles... I should sleep well tonight.
