Running Accomplishments:

Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Personal:

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.

Blizzard conditions...... hopefully tomorrow for a run in the snow. It is crazy, roads closed all over the place the last two days. Winds will be blowing 40 to 50 mph with 3 plus inches of new snow today. With the 4 inches yesterday and the 4 to 6 over the weekend it is a mess!

Bought those yaktrax yesterday and wanted to try them out. Windchill was hovering around 15 below zero so I opted against it. Ran this morning with the temps at 2 degrees. Call me stupid I guess. The yaktrax work well. Lots of packed snow and ice and they gripped really well on the snow and did ok on the ice. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Ran in 15 degrees and lots of sunshine today! Hanna made it all 7 miles. Felt real good weather wise compared to what we have been having. Yaktrax is the name of the game. Great product.

Ran around the greenbelt after work. Cool temps... 18 degrees no wind. Nobody else out today. It is suppose to snow another 4 to 6 inches in the next 24 hours. &*(__&%^$!! I image I'll be content this winter to just get some easy, steady miles.
