It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun. Short-Term Running Goals: Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family. Personal: Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

| After work run on a very cloudy day. No breeze, well I couldn't feel any. Easy first mile followed by 6 + miles paced out between 7:15 and 7:30. Surprising enough I felt pretty good. Lets see how I feel tomorrow. With this year training consistently, but not racing .... wondering if I have really made any improvements. It fells like it. Maybe I should go to the track and do some 1 mile repeats and see how my efforts look. | |

| Bought those yaktrax yesterday and wanted to try them out. Windchill was hovering around 15 below zero so I opted against it. Ran this morning with the temps at 2 degrees. Call me stupid I guess. The yaktrax work well. Lots of packed snow and ice and they gripped really well on the snow and did ok on the ice. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! | |
