Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.
Personal:
Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.
Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.
10 easy miles on the tm after work. Nothing special just some easy miles @ 8:15 pace. Looks like winter is here. Snowy and cool!
Pro Grid 2 Miles: 10.20

Great job on the TM, I'm sure it'll pay huge dividends when winter is over. I caught up to all my local competition here in Abilene by running my biggest mileage ever during the worst part of summer when everyone else was taking it easy. So I like what you're doing!

Fastjoe... For January in Idaho, I think that I am in ok shape. Hopefully I can build on this base that I have and get faster later in the year.
IJR... Thanks.. It looks like my wife will be traveling to the qualifying jumprope championships in Feb which is during the same weekend. She would love to make the trip south sometime. Next year?????? Are you planning to run ST. George this year? That may be one that I will try to get in this year.
Flat...We got such a late start that I hope that you are wrong on that one! It snowed another 2 inches last night. The one thing that I have liked about this winter is that I have been able to pick up all the dog bombs in the back yard. You can't imagine what a mess it can be in April when the snow melts if we have had a long winter. Are you running St. George this year?

I am hoping to run St George, I need to see exactly when it is and when the lottery opens, then check with my wife and our family schedule.

April 1 is when you can register. The race is the first weekend in October on Saturday. I'm going to give it a shot this year. I got in a couple of years ago, only to get a stress fracture a month before the race.
