runnin with a friend

Ran to work on another chilly morning. Slick conditions and some snow made it so you had better pay attention to every step. GI issues to make things a bit interesting. Luckily, no need to do laundry when I got to work. Okay, too much information!

Nice afternoon.... mid 30's and a good breeze. Felt better than this morning. Picked the pace up a bit towards the end. Haven't ran a good pace for quite a while. I'll just progress like the weather.

Ran up sunnyside after work on a very pleasant day. High 30's and very little wind. Bought some arm warmers and tried them out today. They worked great! 8:05 avg for the run.

Just some easy miles today. Temps at about 40 or so. Pretty good day to run. Taking it nice and easy. Hoping to get miles up a bit and then add some tempo running.

Nice cool March morning. Temps in the mid 20's at the start. Pretty good breeze blowing from the southeast. Had a crazy day at work yesterday. Fellow co-worker's wife got a call from SLC saying that they had a kidney for her. Great news, she has been waiting for some time know. Well, my shift was over and I was heading out the door to go for a run. My supervisor called and told me that he couldn't work that evening for my co-worker due to home project. So I ended up working a 14 hour day and no run. Glad to do it though. This might give my friends wife a few good quality years. Question...... Why do they say, ''harvest'' when talking about organs donatin. Sounds gross! And I don't get grossed out very often.

25 degrees this morning. Nice to get out before the roads were full of disgruntled drivers. Ran up sunnyside and back home. A good week of running in the first week of March.
