Running Accomplishments:

Completed 9 marathons with mixed results. 3:38 being the best out of the 9. It's been several years since I have participated in a marathon. Priorities and health have played a roll with racing the last few years. Hoping to get out and participate and have some fun.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Really want to race again. 5k's to the marathon. Love to qualify to run Boston at some point.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Keep running and family balanced and be as fit as I can so I can run and play with the family.

Personal:

Happily married for some time......5 great kids that overachieve in whatever they choose to do.

Blog titile explanation: Been diagnosed with a brain tumor late 2013. With my lack of confidence in the medical field and just not feeling good about it......I will be running with my friend, "Tiny Tim" until further notice.

Hobbled 8 miles this morning after giving birth over the weekend. Two kidney stones saturday morning. I am really sore but felt up to running to work this morning. Well if you can call it running. I was able to pass the stones at home with NO medication which I feel helped me recover quickly. It is amazing how much doctors want to give you medication. I know there is a need for some of it but i believe that being active and eating properly can give you an edge. I may try to run on my lunch break later for a couple of miles....

Got out at lunch around the greenbelt for a quick 3. Lots of people out. Beautiful afternoon. Maybe I'll try this more often to get acclamated to the warmer weather.

Nice and easy this morning. 50 plus degrees. Still sore but improving from the harsh weekend. Family got back from Galveston this morning at 4am. Spent some time chatting with the wife about the week. Kids did great!

Nice run to work. 8 miles on a very nice morning 55 degrees. Going to try to get another run in at lunch or ofter work. Lots of people out early. Bikers and runners. Where are they in February?

Ran home today. Warm but nice breeze to cool off. Try to get a long run in tomorrow morning before the dreaded parade.....
