runnin with a friend

Just a nice easy run to work this morning. Temps in the 50's I'm guessing and no wind. Felt pretty good till mile 5 or so. What's new???? Hopefully the orthotics will be here today so I can see if that helps. If not, a insiders tip..... I am going through the KTtape like crazy, could be a good thing to invest in.

Had to work early this morning so the AM run was out of the question. Got home and went for a run in the afternoon. Yuck! 80 degrees and lots of humidity. That's what I get for running strictly in the morning. 6 hard miles due to the heat. No issues with the ptt. Hopefully past a big hurdle.

\Channel 6 called today and have set up an interview with my daughter today. They are coming over to the house and then to the gym. If you want to see a 16 year old move fast to clean up her room..... just tell them that the evening news is going to do an interview and you will get results. She is excited along with her parents. I will post when it will be on tv. Hopefully they well have a link on their website and some of you non Idaho residents can view it.

Ran later in the everning to avoid the Idaho heat. Started the run at 8:15pm and had a nice cool breeze to deal with. Temps were still about 80 or so but didn't feel like it. No issues with ptt! So I ordered the orthotics and I am waiting for them with mixed feelings. I am such a tight wad! I guess they will be a good insurance while it totally heals. But then on the other hand, I could sure use that money for other things....

Early morning run that felt just like yesterday. Nothing special about it. I did try to speed things up for a mile or two. My speed has definetly suffered during this stretch of recovery.

Ran at 5:30 this morning with Sheridan around sunnyside. Nice cool temps this morning. Quite a few runners out hitting the roads this morning. Legs felt a bit better this morning than in the previous runs. Hope the legs remember this running game.

Nice morning! Just that good ole Idaho summer morning weather thing going on. 50 or so and no wind. Just wish that I could go farther. I am grateful that I can run everyday now. Tuesday I get the orthotics and maybe that will help even more. Out of the week of running, I think that I had 3 days of no effects of ptt and the other 3 it would hit me about mile 5 or so. I would have to look, but I think that it was the last of April that I ran a 18 miler and felt ok. Its just like starting over.

Okay, I did look it up. The first week of April I ran 68 miles and 50 something the second and on the third week I ran 64 miles. Seems like I have been recovering and suffering alot longer than that!
